Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn is actively seeking to recruit a school transport bus escort. We require a bus escort to accompany three pupils to and from school in a taxi. The escort will be required to cater for the needs of one of these pupils. This position will require availability to work 5 days a week for 2 hours maximum per day.

The escort should be available between 8.05am – 9.05am in the mornings and 2.20am to 3.20pm in the afternoons (subject to change). The escort will be picked up from and dropped back to Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn each school day.

The hourly rate of pay is €15.20 per hour, in line with the Department of Education guidelines for school bus escorts.

Good communication skills are essential. Experience in the management of diabetes is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Appointment and start date is subject to Garda vetting requirements, verification of references, training if needed and the availability of a transport service. Please include one work reference and one character reference and their contact details with your application.
